CCrevolver runs an Open Submission, 'Live Art, Music & Multimedia Event' based in Cork, Ireland; a project developed to show new works in alternative venues and establish a responsive forum to encourage a diversity of creative practice. A celebration of music culture and the creative arts.

Works for the last event ranged from: very sophisticated image based work, witty and pointed appropriation of media material, animation work, video works, video performance, video text works, experimental sound works, live performance, contemporary dance, interactive electronic based work, kinetic and conceptual installations and short film.

An abstract yet eloquently lyrical work draws on the suggestive shapes and formations of life rhythm; another work meanwhile invents its own peculiarly pastoral Inferno; electronically driven audio-visual work amalgamates private and public spaces of the imagination; a performance artist lies prone with a concrete cube weighing down on his head while passers by studiously avoid his presence; in another, spectators are objects of spectacle also, this is perhaps particularly the case as regards spectators of art work...............the article continues on the publicity page.

CCrevolver: a collaborative practice between, Andrew Johnson , Robby Collins, Elaine Mackey and Ger Staunton. Andrew Johnson and Robby Collins: founder & co-director of Electric Rain. View Photo Gallery and event details here.
